Welcome to the Parry Sound Power and Sail Squadron, where you can learn about boating safety.
The Parry Sound Power and Sail Squadron, with some 100 local members, is a unit of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS), a nationwide organization of boating enthusiasts.
We work to increase boating safety and enjoyment by providing instruction in seamanship and navigation for all boaters, whether power or sail. Supported by a small staff in Canadian headquarters, all teaching and administrative work is handled by volunteers. CPS is non-governmental, non-regulatory and non-military. Membership is not restricted by size or type of boat; you don’t even need to own a boat to be a member.
Purely and simply we are a dedicated group of volunteers interested in improving safety and enjoyment on the water through training and education.
We were at cope cog island this past weekend and scoured the place for the geocache. We did not find it. We think it may have been removed or misplaced! Please advise so we know if we should return or not
Well, you won’t find it. I was out there a month ago and found it, or at least half of it. It seems that a bear had crushed it with its mouth, as evidenced by the teeth marks. We will need to get a replacement out. Thanks for looking.
